What I'm Doing for Lent

I was raised Catholic. I truly enjoy Lent and the idea of giving up a vice, giving back to the community or doing something to better yourself.

After much deliberation over the last 24 hours, the idea came to me out of the blue while at work today: For Lent, I am going to do a 15-minute daily meditation.

I've done occasional meditation before, but never for a prolonged period of time... in this case, for 40 consecutive days! It will be nice to take that time out of each day to quiet my mind, relax my body and reflect.

Are you doing anything for Lent, whether you're Catholic or not? Do you meditate?

I was raised catholic (or so I thought) but I can't even remember giving something up for lent when I was younger.

I thought about giving up something but at the same time I wanted it to be something beneficial and I didn't think of anything in time. I don't meditate but sounds like a good idea. Good luck!
