Extra Income

I've received a lot of extra income this month and it's definitely needed due to the holidays!

  • Old Car Insurance Dividend Reimbursement: $98
  • New Car Insurance Refund (due to bundling of services): $63
  • E-Bates (my FIRST payout! Referral link here): $27
This has helped with extra dinners out with friends, renewal of my 24 Hour Fitness membership (through Costco!) and a plethora of gifts...including two birthdays and a bridal shower. I almost never get any extra income, funny how it all arrives at the same time. :)

Extra money is something special. I try to save the different extra money I get. It is a bit easier to save since it doesn't fall into any of my budgeted catagories. Sometimes I put it towards a large items I am saving for other times I add it to my emergency account.

The only extra money I ever seem to get is from working overtime, and lately I,ve been to busy to do any. hoping things start to settle a bit on the lead up to Christmas.

Like your blog... and gotta love extra money! You know, I tried that Ebates thing for awhile, but I never earned enough to cash it out.

In almost every case, our time can be better spent working on new projects to develop income rather than spending hours coming up with a budget and finding coupons that will save us $0.32 every time we buy peanut butter at the grocery store.
